The birthplace of the Kun Opera and a city with a long history, Kunshan is known for having given forth many prominent figures that bring it glory.

The tourist-resource-rich Kunshan has in its north the Yangcheng Lake and in its south the Dianshan Lake which are famous for their limpid waters and charming scenery.
