Kunshan Introduction

Kunshan is an ancient city now glowing with radiant youth.

The birthplace of the Kun Opera and a city with a long history, Kunshan is known for having given forth many prominent figures that bring it glory.

The tourist-resource-rich Kunshan has in its north the Yangcheng Lake and in its south the Dianshan Lake which are famous for their limpid waters and charming scenery. Here, Zhouzhouang, China's No. 1 region of rivers and Lakes, with its 900-year history and uniquely picturesque ¡®bridges, stream and households¡¯, features typicality among the water-blessed places south of the Yangtze River, hence winning high admiration from home and abroad.
